Go Elsewhere! You may never see your doctor

If you decide to select LaTouche Pediatrics for your children's healthcare needs, don't be surprised if you can rarely get in to see your selected doctor unless you scheduled far in advance. Be even less surprised if when you go for your visit you have been switched to seeing a Nurse Practitioner - for the same cost as a doctor. They will also charge you an office visit (over $140) just to go in to get your child's vaccines. This office charge is in ADDITION to the vaccine charge. Check around because many doctors charge only for the shots and have open walk-in any time policy for vaccines. There are also places where free vaccines are available. When it comes to billing issues, don't expect them to be helpful. Once they are paid they have no intention of helping you with questions or revisions to a claim. They have their money and that is all that matters to them. It is a large practice with many patients. Too many. We were in often and yet every time I felt like a stranger to whomever we saw - and we saw them all more than once. There are plenty of other excellent pediatricians in town. Buyer beware!!!!

A nice friendly office.

After reading the first review here I have to comment too. I have taken my children to this practice (they are grown now) and always had a good experience. The new office on Huffman is nice and quieter than Providence location but the doctors do rotate through that office so if you are determined to only see your provider you may have to schedule ahead of time or go to the hospital location. They always bill my insurance and I paid my copay and deductibles so no problems with billing. Nice doctors and nurse practitioners in my opinion, but I hope parents will make their own decision. Check them out yourself. Ask around among your friends too.
