By far the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!

Ok so I'm not one to really complain, or rant and rave about things, but I think it's my duty to let other people know about the horrible experience I had at TBC Day Spa. First off, whoever runs the damn buisness runs it like he/she has his/her head up someone's ass. There was NO organization, (my appt was supposed to be at 1, didn't get in until 2 because there was a problem with the sauna), my message therapist was awesome, but the whole place was just gaudy. I then had a facial which was just horrible. This lady didn't know what the hell she was doing. Nothing was sanitary!!! I swear there was strips from someones brazilian waxing laying on the floor!!! I also told the esthetician that my face was extremely sensative yet she went and tore my face to hell anyway...using horrid chemicals that left maks on my face for weeks!!! (Burns is what i found out they were!!!) Needless to say I won't be going back there and nor do i recommend it to ANYONE!!!

I've been to this place before and had my appointment get messed up. I just recently stopped in again to learn they are under new management. The staff is really friendly and very eager to help. The facials are a great price! I've made a few appointments and was extremely happy with my services! They offer just about everything there except nails. Great prices, great location!

Not kid friendly!

I am a past client of Elegance and I definitely would never bring your children to this spa. I went there to get my hair done and out of the blue one of the asain employees came out and starting yelling. Not only was she yelling, she was extremely rude. There was multiple cuss words being said and I had to actually sent my children to the car so they wouldn't hear the horrible language. That's NOT okay!

• Cons: language was horrible, dress code not inforced

Worst spa expierence ever!

I would NOT recommend this spa to anyone! I had a massage scheduled about 2 months ago and the therapist never showed up. I tried again a couple weeks ago and again, nobody showed up. I would have to say this is the most unorganized spa I've ever been to! Whoever you are below me, you are a fool! At least when I scheduled massages with Therapeutic, I actually got it. Again, I recommend this spa to no one!

I am so sorry for everyone out there that came here when Darlene was the owner. We are under new management now and are called Elegance Massage and Day Spa. We have changed some prices are very clean and sanitary and we are also updating the decor in here. We DO ACCEPT WALK INS now. We have a great staff here now and we do read your paperwork and listen to your needs. Please come in and give us a try, please don't let Darlene ruin your experience with us. We have lots of specials going on right now for the Christmas holiday. If you buy any spa package we will give you our Balance Package half off. Also right now if you are a new customer, which is everybody for us, you get a 10% discount on any of our services. WE WILL BE OPENING OUR NEW AND IMPROVED HAIR SALON IN JANUARY. We have some of the best Massage Therapist in town now and we will have the best Hairdressers too!!! We are still closed on Sundays but will be open 7 days a week starting the new year. Again I am sorry for all of you that had to deal with Darlene's bad attitude, please if you posted a bad comment, come in and see us and let us show you how a relaxing day spa visit should be!!!

The owner is the aesthetician who does all services other than massage. She doesn't use sheets on her table, as others have noticed- I'm sure that's a health violation. Darlene is cranky and possibly the worst boss I've ever had (tough competition for my current boss at a spa, it must run in the business!) For the money there are much better places in town, that I would highly recommend going to first.

Friendly, courteous staff

I strongly disagree with the user who said that the staff were rude. I found everyone to be very pleasant.

Regarding the comment that the girl told her husband she could walk in, perhaps her husband just goofed. My hubby bought me a gift certificate, and the certificate specifically stated to call to set up an appt and even included a blank appt card.

As far as specifying certain things on the card and having her instructions ignored, I have to disagree there as well. Everyone who worked on me looked at my paperwork and even asked questions about my requests.

Now, I will admit that this is not necessarily a high end spa. The decor is a bit dated and certain areas did seem cluttered, as one user mentioned. However, overall it seemed quite clean to me- nothing seemed dirty or unsanitary.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would go back.

my hubby got me a gift cert. for my b-day.the girl he got the card threw said it was walk in so i go (to be a walk in)the person who was supose to open the doors did not show up so i waited out side 45 mins(i took a taxi there)froze my butt off.when some one finaly showed up,i go in and find out there is not a walk in so i just waisted $35. when i got a apointment i filed a card out did not want any mint sprays and to my suprise i got mint everything when i complained they said they normal dont read the cards,i was very upset bynow when i spoke to the manage(i guess it was pay back ,for complaining)it was now time for my facial i informed her i have very sencitive skin put it this way by the time i was done shed put 6 different creams on my face and each one made my face on FIRE shed wipe it off the last time she did this she did not have a towel to wipe this stuff off left the room to get a towel finaly came back wiped it off im crying im in pain my face is so red it hurts.she told me i may want to go home.did not say sorry nothing.DO NOT RECAMEND.RUN AWAY DONT GO THERE.
