Humpy's has the best fried halibut and salmon spread. Fast and friendly service. Nice and clean restaurant. If your wanting a great atmosphere this is the place to be.

Food is great and Good selection of beer. Avoid weekends

Have been to this bar many times. The food is always good but the service is slow on weekends. I can be a little forgiving when busy but they should get more servers. Avoid like the plague on the weekends But is great for lunch

Great Place To Hang Out

This place isn't the cheapest in town but I enjoy all the tv's that are usually tuned to the most relevant games. Very good selection of Beers and some of the best fish tacos this side of Baja. I've been here a number of times and always had good food. It can get a little corwded during peak times and the Friday night live music is usually decent. With the exception being Push K. They are Fan-Frakin-tastic. One of my favorite places to eat in Anchorage and the best bar food in the Downtown area.

• Pros: Great food for a bar/pub category. Liked the tv's and that they were muted. Good Specials.
• Cons: Not the best value in Anchorage, but worth it anyways.

Amazing! Everyone from college students to lawers! Great beer!

The only dowside I see to Humpy's is the wait. It sometimes gets crowded and there's not always a place to sit. It's a great place to hangout and meet new people or take a group. I can't even say that standing is a bad thing. Bartenders are great and music is great too! You can go and get "lost" in the crowd or be right up front and "center stage".

• Pros: Definitely need to try the Alaskan Amber!
• Cons: Not really

Talk about expensive drinks for poor service!

I was NOT impressed with the service at Humpy's. The drinks were overpriced, both the beer and the mixed drinks. I got poor service from a waitress who seemed to be strung out on something. When we went to the bar to fight the crowd for a drink, the bartenders just kept walking past everyone to go talk with each other. Horrible. Needless to say, we left, and I don't think we're planning on going back anytime soon.

• Cons: high prices, poor service, too crowded

A really nice pub atmosphere - great beer on tap (we're not talkin' Miller Light here) - a rotating selection of really great beers from around the world - some very distinguished selections for the serious beer fan.

Usually crowded, but that's the scene, right? Where Anchorage pub lovers go to meet and greet.

Far above-average food for a bar - a great place to go for good food and drink. Try the locally famous halibut tacos or smoked salmon dip.
