I love this restaurant and take all my friends here.

I have loved this place for the last fifteen years. It is the best. The place is always clean and when you are entertaining out of town guests, the decor always helps make interesting conversation. The service is excellent and the food superb.
Have a nice dry martini.... the bartender is great.
- Pros: everything
- Cons: parking
Amazing food!

I recently ate at Club Paris and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, by far my best meal in Anchorage. The price was incredible, the only downside to this restaurant was the dark and dingy appearance. Otherwise the food was great the service was excellent, for the price, I give Club Paris 5 stars!
- Pros: can't beat the food and the price
- Cons: dark and dingy
Terrible Service
by briclairesophjack at Citysearch
I was terribly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was hoping for a wonderful meal because of Club Paris' reputation and the price of the food. What we received was nothing close to that. The first thing our party realized was that our waitress was extremely rude. Not rude for a server in a nice restaurant, rude for a person anywhere. The meal that followed was so unexceptional it was hard to believe we were paying 30 dollars for a steak. At the end of the meal I asked to see the manager. I tried my best to, very politely, explain what was wrong with our meal while first telling him that I fully intended to pay for the entire meal. The man barely listened to me. He was hostile and, I believe, came to the table looking for an angry argument. His only argument was that people had been eating and liking the food for 30 years. My response was that people eating it for 30 years doesn't make it right or good. He then cut me off and told me that he "didn't need to listen to my insults" and to "get the hell out" of his restaurant. The best part of the meal was that we didn't pay.
- Pros: Fried Zucchini (good for bar food)
- Cons: Staff, Price, Food
Disappointing
by aztoak at Citysearch
I was really looking forward to eating at Club Paris, but had a overall very disappointing experience. The waitress was nice and attentive, but for a nice restaurant she wore a t-shirt. The appetizers were delicious, the spicy zucchini and escargo were excellent. The french onion soup lacked onion flavor and the dinner salad had store bought croutons and the "house" dressing was just Kraft italian dressing. We all had different cuts of steak for dinner, and all were chewy. Not what we expected at all. Hands down not the best steak in Anchorage. The sides were also lacking. The baked potato had processed cheese melted on it, and wasn't even baked. The steak fries were mushy and not at all crispy. It seemed the kitchen was cutting quality that night, and wasn't putting their best meal out. In the end, the food is way over priced for cafeteria quality food and wouldn't be worth it to go again to. There are much better steaks out there.
- Pros: Appetizers
- Cons: Steack
And you thought dinner was good?

First of all Club Paris is hands down one of Anchorage's best restaurants. It is a very old and low key place in the heart of downtown. As you can see from the other reviews they have some of the best steaks in town, but I want to talk about lunch. Club Paris has a terrific lunch menu at one of the most reasonable prices, for around $8-$10 you can get a big cheeseburger and some really good french fries, thats cheap! Or you could spend that same amount at Carl's Jr. and never know what a real burger tastes like...Its up to you!
- Pros: Great Lunch & Dinner
- Cons: Its a small place, make reservations for dinner.
This is where Anchorage goes for steak

Steakhouse food - love it or hate it, you can't deny it. I think we all know what the genre represents.
This is Anchorage's official steakhouse - hands down. If you ask a true Alaskan where to get a steak meal in Anchorage, this is the answer you will get.
A little funky, looks a little seedy - but this is Anchorage, right? If Spenard earned a first-class upgrade, this would be there capital.
Superb meat (truly) and all those terrible coronary artery clogging sides you can imagine (and dream about - you know you do.) No pretense to heart-healthy here.
It's all too easy to drop $50 a person for dinner and drinks, but what's a steakhouse for? If someone in Anchorage doesn't answer "Club Paris" to the steak question - they are not to be trusted.
- Pros: the best steak, cozy and intimate, diet-busting add-ons
- Cons: parking, sleazy appearance, bring your mortgage
