From a professional nurse perspective, I can evaluate the quality of health care from a most judgmental perspective. The quality of medical diagnosis by Dr. Means and prescribed reatment modalities exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the personal and committment of the entire staff cannot be over complimented... a very rare find in today's health care delivery systems.

My old sun-damaged face and visually offensive poikiloderma of civatte responded overwhelmingly well with laser skin treatments from RN Tammy, followed by aesthetic chemcial peel applications by Jennifer. The final results were an almost even skin tone that was diminished two shades in foundation makeup.

Wholeheartedly, I reccomend Dr. Means and his staff for the utmost quality and professional services in skin aesthetic medicines. By the way, I just loved their heated and well-padded beds.... made it difficult to remove oneself once treatment was completed.

Best Medical Spa in Anchorage

The staff really makes you feel welcome, not like they are just waiting around to collect a paycheck. I met the Dr. on my first visit and he answered all of my questions completely. He's very nice and professional. I then started having hair removal treatments with his nurse, Tammy. She is very good at this and has been doing it for years. I love the results and will be adding another area soon. One thing that also impressed me is how clean this office is, especially the bathrooms. They pay a lot of attention to detail. This place is top of the line and I've been sending all of my friends and family there. NOVA is simply the BEST medical spa in Anchorage!

Nova Aesthetic is the BEST!

I have never gone to a physician that is so sincerely interested in helping you, as is Dr. Means. I like the fact that he works with you, to find what's best. I've been going there for a little over a month now, and have had several treatments for my 'rosy cheeks.' There was a noticeable difference just after the first treatment, and it just keeps getting better! I am so excited!

The staff at Nova is top notch. Always a smile, always a warm greeting. Tammy is awesome! I haven't had a massage there yet, but you can bet I will.

It just doesn't get any better than Nova, in my opinion.

I highly recommend them!

I'm so happy I don't have to look like a man!

I have looked like a man for years and I'm so happy I'm crying right now. I have only 4 hairs left on my chin! I was really scared when I went over to NOVA and Dr. Means and Tammy were so nice and they are really caring. I probably asked a hundred questions, but Dr. Means answered them all and I felt really safe. Tammy has done all my treatments and she's really good at explaining things to me so I never felt afraid. She's really knowledgeable about hair removal and has worked on a lot of machines. I am getting everything done now.

If you are in my situation, don't put it off another day! Go see my favorite nurse in all the world and let her take away your man hair.

Christine is my favorite esthetician!

I've been a client of Christine's for over a year and I followed her over to NOVA. I have never met a more devoted esthetician. Christine really understands skincare. I especially love that she now does chemical peels. She always calls to check up on me and I can call her anytime with questions or even to schedule an appointment. She doesn't leave the office and turn off her work. It's not just a job for her, she really loves skincare. Christine is a skin care professional and a darling person. I'm glad I found her again.

• Pros: Nice location, next to Starbucks. Love the relaxed atmosphere, warm colors, great parking. I never feel hurried. I notice they give everyone plenty of time with appointments.
• Cons: More signage needed on the road, but nice sign out front.
