Won't be going here anymore. This had been my go-to Thai place since I first tried it over 2 years ago. Over the last year or so though, they not only raised the prices, but the last time I was there, my entree size pad see eew was almost all noodles, with a bit of eggs and brocolli, and tiny pieces of chicken I can almost count on one hand. Unfortunately also, the noodles were rather soggy. I will be looking for another thai place, which is too bad because I live so close to this one!
THAI FOOD ROCKS!. My first visit to Alaska and I must admit, I didn't think there was any good food to be had. I was craving Thai food and my cousin whom I was visiting suggested we try this place that her friends from work were telling her about. We were skeptical, especially since my cousin and I travelled through southeast Asia last summer and spent 6 weeks in Thailand eating all the delicious food that country has to offer. We arrived to the restaurant starving and probably ordered way too much food, but to our surprise, finished every last bite. We were full, but the food was so good we couldn't stop eating. We started out with the fresh rolls and larb. They added a special touch to the fresh rolls with a little piece of crisp, tart apple. Larb, which is a ground chicken salad marinated in lime juice and chillies top with cilantro and thai basil was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I stopped by before leaving town and got an order of this before my flight home. Next we decided to try the coconut milk soup with chicken, again=DELICIOUS! The broth was rich and flavorful with tender morsels of chicken swimming around. For our main entree we ordered a red curry with beef and bamboo shoots and decided to try something different, Ko si mee, a crispy noodle dish with a thai chicken gravy smothered all over it. YUMM! Never had that before or ever seen it in any Thai restaurants I've ever eaten at. Sooo good and the curry was great too, we like it spicy and they delivered. I only wish I could take this place home with me. I will definitely be back to Anchorage to eat at Lahn Pad Thai, and of course to visit my cousin!
OMG the best food i have tasted.
For my first time i have ever had Thai food it was delicious. The restaurant was small but the service was great. I found out that this is a family owned restaurant when i talked to one of the waiters.
I’d recommend the Pad Thai (L5). The food was neat, decorative, and there was a color balance.
BEST THAI IN TOWN. Pad Thai is awesome! My boyfriend and I have been going in about once every week or so for the last three months and have never had a bad experience. The restaraunt is small, but the staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We try something new every time we go in and we have yet to find something we don't love. If you like Thai food then this is definitely the place to go!
Tasty Thai in your tummy!. For those of you looking for a friendly atmosphere with delicious food, head over to Lahn Pad Thai! Everything from there scrumptious fresh rolls and Thai tea to there most spicy noodles and soups...all is delicious! I have been to all the Thai restaurants in Anchorage and Wasilla, and this is by far the best! Friendly service and a knowledgable staff make the experience delightful. And if you like spicy, they definately have that down. My friend likes mild dishes and she got her's perfectly spice-less. Accomadating, friendly, and delicious...this is a MUST for all Thai food lovers alike!!
