Extra Yummy!. This was recommended by an Anchorage dweller as his favorite sushi place as I was traveling on business. Definitely worth the trip. Service was great and the chef's suggestions were helpful. My favorite was the Oh Baby roll. It had everything, eel, spicy tuna and crab. Must give this one a try.

Best miso soup and service in town!. We showed up 1 hour before they were supposed to open on a Sunday and the door was unlocked. I felt bad after noticing the hours of operation but they told us to come right in. Even while still getting ready the service was excellent and the food was wonderful. Their miso soup is rich with flavor because they use real miso broth base. We also had their gyoza, black mushroom roll and waikiki roll. The serving sizes are plentiful and the rolls are tasty! All in all I had zero complaints and only wished I had more room in my stomach to try their nigiri sushi!

Fresh, tasty and imaginative. This is a small, well decorated (not over the top) restaurant. Not to mention that they only use the freshest ingredients, they show a lot of creativity and thought. One of the nice perks of this restaurant that I enjoy is that you can ask Brandon (the owner and head chef) to make you a plate of sushi to your expectation. So if you are wanting to try something new your imagination is the only thing stopping you. Also you can ask them to take their own creative license. Definitly my number one choice of sushi places in Alaska.
