Professional atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service is what you can expect at Solara. I have been going to Solara for a variety of reasons for the past few years and have been very happy with my service there. The staff are very accomodating and pleasant, and the specials are great!

I like Solara very much. They are easy to park at and no meters to deal with in University mall on old seward. No complications with any eyebrows .Prices are resonable too. Best place to get bikini wax for vacation or boyfriend.

Worst customer service ever. The other reviews must be out dated. I RECENTLY attempted to have a small tattoo laser removed. On the phone before i wasted my time driving out there i was told they have a minimum charge of $100, (I've had 2 treatments already costing $125 each) so naturally anyone would guess it would be quoted at about the same price. When i go for the consultation a very snotty overweight lady (i wish i had gotten a name but unfortunately that's the only way i can describe her) told me it would be $250. I explained to her that I've had 2 treatments done somewhere else for $125 "we're actually professionals" she said rather unprofessionally, but she didn't care about getting any business and insisted I pay double what their competitor cost. I explained to her that even her competitor across town charges $150, "well why aren't you there?!" she yelled with a ghetto tone. "because you told me $100 on the phone." I explained. I feel extremely badly for the poor owner who has to deal with these individuals. These jokers conduct business like clowns. I would never recommend solara to anyone. But i highly recommend you check out their competitors.

I've been going go Solara for my third laser treatment and so far it's working well. Can't wait for the final results. I think everyone should consider taking this route (with Solara of course) in order to achieve a more effective way of getting rid of unwanted hair.

Solara Skin Care Treatments. I went originally to another "spa" for a skin care treatment and the treatment I received was not as effective as the treatments I received at Solara. I have always been self-conscious about my skin but after the treatments, I feel more conformable with my skin's appearance. The staff is has always supportive and friendly and I plan to make a trip to Solara every year as part of my skin care routine.

Friendly staff and great services. I have visited this spa on two occasions now and each time have been treated with the best hospitality. I learned of this spa from a friend and now I'm addicted. If I only had a money tree! I recommend this spa by far over any other in anchorage :)

Relaxing!. I first visited Solara with a friend and from the moment you walk in you are surrounded by a calm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and created us promptly. After going here with my friend i booked my own appointment to follow in two weeks. I very much suggest Solara if you are wanting a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Clean and Comfortable. I was nervous about having laser hair removal done the first time. I didn't need to be. Eileen and Lori were professional, personable, and put you at ease. The center is clean and the treatments are working.

Not as Promised. They sold me a $500 "package" for laser hair removal, which included 5 treatments. They never mentioned it didn't work on light colored hair. (Mine is a blend of 1/3 brown, 2/3 white). This was only relayed to me by my technician during the first treatment. When I then tried to get a refund of at least part of the $500, they refused. I have been going for more treatments because it's throwing money away either way. Sure enough, it leaves the lighter hair alone. BTW: They get real snotty when you don't love them; the previously sweet demeanor evaporates!
