Once Was Enough.
Was greeted by an odor rather than a salesperson. Entire store smelled like embalming fluid over cat urine. Was not approached by staff once, not even a hello. I wasn't overlooked due to the store being busy... there was only one other customer. Much room for improvement.
Noticed more complaints about rude clerks online @ Yelp. Apparently the lack of customer service here wasn't my imagination. Unfortunate.

Amazing Alaska find.. The best store in Alaska. Beautiful interior. Outstanding items. Always something new and unusual. The owner, Ellen, is always friendly, warm and welcoming. I'm from Chicago and when I'm not in Alaska, this is the one store I miss visiting regularly. Keep up the great work Ellen.
