I go to the Beehive and love it! My hairstylist is great, and they are flexible as far as appointment times. Plus, they are reasonably priced, which is odd nowadays, especially with all the attention the shop has gotten recently due to their clientele.

• Cons: Building could use an upgrade.

Just what I needed

I had a fantastic experience at the 'Hive. Staff were friendly and flexible. I got a great haircut and perfect color (subtle purple). Stylist did exactly what I asked for and the shop has great atmosphere. Highly recommended for alt-style in the Valley.

AMAZING cut and color in Wasilla, Alaska!!

This salon is such a great find. Decorated in a really fun vintage style, the staff is relaxed yet very professional - they all worked TOGETHER on my hair; no glares or snoot here. I consider getting my hair done a treat so it's nice to go to a relaxing salon where the focus is on my hair sans all the wanna-be pretentiousness. My evening appointment began on time (WOW) and there was no pressure from my stylist to buy a ton of product. Truthfully, I received the best high/lowlights EVER, and I have been to many salons across the country including those considered top knotch in NYC, BOSTON, LA and MIAMI. Hats off to the the Beehive - I am so pleased to have found your expertise right here in Wasilla!

P.S. All this and I picked up a pair of awesome fitting vintage jeans for 10 bucks too!!
