Worst! Keep Driving!

We stopped at Alpine Diner and Bakery in Girdwood for a quick lunch and we were completely disappointed. The waitress was so rude. I ordered an ice tea that came without ice. After asking for ice several times, I asked "it is possible to get some ice?" she said "I doubt it". (there is a gas station next door with ice for sale if the restaurant it out). The food was awful $14! for chicken fingers that were cold and hard. My BLT tasted like sawdust. The personal hygiene and sanitation of the server was disgusting. As I stood next to the cash register to pay, she hocked a lugi in the trash right in front of me. Do yourself a favor and keep driving up to Jack Sprat's or the bakeshop in Girdwood- avoid this place at all costs!
