My Fave Pizza. My favorite pizza in town is the Bahama Mamma, sans olives! Soooo yummy!

Great Pizza!!!A+++. The food at Flight Deck is awesome.. I was concerned when i first set foot in the bar but soon found that the service and food was amazing. The pizzas are huge..I highly recommend.

What a dive. not that dives are all that bad. I first ran into this place on a visit to Anchorage two months ago. The interior was filthy, the air reeked of cigarettes, and the bar was lined with regulars. Oh, did I mention this was the middle of the day?

I sauntered up to the bar expecting the worst and damn if I wasn't surprised, right off the bat my order was taken and quickly filled correctly. The bartender asked my name and made the effort to introduce me to the other patrons. Folks started to engage me in conversation and the next thing I knew- we were talking about the wedding of one of the regulars and asking me questions as if I had attended.

The next time I was in town, I returned, only this time the bar was a little cleaner, but just as filled. I took my place at the bar, ordered and was handed the Sunday paper turned to the crossword page. Again the introductions, and our little corner of the bar (myself and 5 others) worked on our crosswords separately and as a team...that was a pretty cool feeling, one missing since my days on Guam.

Would I recommend this place? Depends. If your looking for a place to hang out and relax without pretension-a beer and a shot place with some truly nice people--- you have found it, but if your looking for a high class atmosphere- keep on driving, this place isn't for you.
