Remote Start Installation = BIG MISTAKE. I finally got a remote start for my Xmas present this year and have wanted one for years. It was installed the Thurs. before Xmas and it hasn't worked correctly ever. Today I have my car in the shop for the 2nd day in a row and I'm starting to worry that the electrical system may be ruined. My husband paid $549.00 for the unit and last night the only thing it would do was unlock the door. If we could do this over we would have gone elsewhere. My coworker said that he used Safe & Sound a couple of times and the 1st time it worked out well and the 2nd time there were problems. He doesn't plan on going back there and if I can get remote start working right you can believe that I will not be going back and I advise anyone else who wants a remote start installed to go anywhere else but, Safe & Sound.
