Nice Family Owned Restaurant. We have been coming to LasMas (our family nick name for the place) for about 10 years off and on. Even if it's been months since we've been in this one guy server, and shame on me for not remember his name right now, calls out to us to say hi and ask how we've been. The whole staff is so nice. I will admit that the serve time is longer than some of the more comercialized places like Gallos, etc., but the atmosphere is so much better it's worth it. On to the food, they serve Mexican and Italian. I know, what an odd combo but trust me they nail the italian too. When we dine there I almost always get fajitas and my husbank LOVES their chicken alfredo. He claims it's some of the best in Anchorage. The kids love the little mini pizzas. The best thing about Las Margaritas is...THE MARGARITAS. They are made fresh and are amazing. The Herradura (sp?) Margarita on the rocks sets the bar in my opinion!

Best Margaritas in Anchorage. Every time I fly into Anchorage my first stop is at Las Margaritas for a 'Ray' (margarita on the rocks with Herradura float) and to talk with Marco behind the bar. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere very much like visiting a friends house. This is a great place for drinks or dinner any time. I highly recommend.
