Tips for Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria

Best pizza anywhere. Real busy from 4PM to midnight so get there early. This place gets so busy, they added a tent next to the building for customer overflow. Get there early. In the summer with the long nights (sun is still up at 11PM) they are going strong at midnight. People in anchorage eat late in the summer beacause it is still light out at midnight. They have since expanded the building to accomodate the extra buiness.

Great Pizza, Excellent Service, Awesome Vibe.
I've been here multiple times and always loved the pizza. You have great options for anything you could want. The vegetarian options are wonderful and appreciated in a town like Anchorage where quality vegetarian food is rare.
The White Pizza is great for an alternative to a standard tomato sauce pizza with lots of veggies. It's got sun dried tomatoe, artichoke hearts, and feta cheese and no tomato sauce.
Probably the best part about the place is the beer, they're always brewing new stuff and it's always great.
The only downside is that it's so great it's always busy.

good pizza. I've had the same waitress more than once, they're usually busy but she's always been rude. Rolling her eyes and even snapped 'just a minute' when it took over 5 minutes to get her attention when she forgot to bring us our side salad. But the long wait and rude, unattentive staff is worth if for the pizza. Not great for large parties, but great for up to 4.

Creative pizza - great sides - and Beer!.
Most Anchoragites agree this is the place for well-made creative pizza. All the standards and many "nouveau" offerings - something for everyone. Well prepared and a lot of variety.
The salads are great (try the chicken oriental) and the Hungarian mushroom soup is a local favorite.
And - they are licensed brewpub. If you like beer, you'll like it here! Due to a quirk in Alaska law, their brewery is now off-premises, but the beer (and home-brewed soft drinks) are worth the trip.
Almost always crowded - everyone from families to business people to the college crowd call Moose's Tooth theirs.
