Awesome Pizza. I normally hate pizza unless it's from Moose's Tooth. They have a nice assortment of pies from the meat lover, gourmet wanna be to the vegetarian. In addition to awesome pizzas and tasty salads, they offer great local brewed beer. What more can you ask for? Some say it's too slow, but if you see how many people go there, you'll understand why. New Yorkers think they know pizza, but Alaskans know they know good pizza.

Awesome. I had dinner here last night. The pizza (Popeyes) and Beer (Red Ale and IPA) were all excellent. A place like this is not packed at 6PM on a Tuesday for any reason other than being great. Confidential to Wyhelda: Take your bud-swillin' knuckle draggin butt back to NYC and stay there.

They've never been to Brooklyn. In Alaska, they forget that there's supposed to be more Tomato sauce than cheese and the best pizza is made with the best olive oil and the best mozzerella.

This place, however, takes poor taste to the extreme.

You barely see any red areas on your dried-out dough who's under-side is covered in garlic salt.

Even with SPECIFIC requests, they fail.

Ask for a pie wih extra sauce, ricotta cheese and basil and they serve you a pie

completely covered with ricota,

topped with sliced up,

UNCOOKED basil leaves.

While you're waiting at the bar

where they have absolutely

no foreign or domestic beers

to complement their wannabe cool "micro-brews",

you can get a dose of their rudeness.

Now that smartass bartender has no idea who I am or if I'd be inclined to smack him or wait for him after he leaves work.

I won't be wasting my hard earned cash in that silly spot again.........

In fact, I may just take my retirement bucks and open a REAL pizza joint in Anchorage.............

Three Mexicans with a Chinese cook could take their business away overnight.

Be smart, DiGiorno is even better than this garbage!

How many times can you get my order wrong, anyway?. I used to really enjoy the mooses tooth, but can't say the same is true anymore. I've been there probably a dozen times in the last two years, and *each time* my order has been messed up at least once. I can handle getting an incorrectly made pizza and sending it back once, but if it comes back wrong again (and AGAIN, in two cases), there is really no excuse. One of my more memorable experiences was the three hour long dinner. My pizza was wrong three times. And then they overcharged me for it and were really rude when I called them out on it.

So so.... This use to be a place I occassionally enjoyed visiting but the last couple visits weren't as good as the one's prior. The staff is excellent; very cheerful and welcoming. But, our family ordered a couple pizzas for dinner and got a very thin soggy crust on more then one occassion. Not very appetizing. It may have beem just our luck but it will deffinately not be a place we will visit for quite awhile. Not a good experience. By the way- they are always busy. Is it the beer???

Great brews, good pizza. Head to Moose's Tooth is you want to go where the locals go. The beer is great and the pizza isn't half bad, either. Good atmosphere for families, but tends to get crowded (which makes it a great place to people-watch, incidentally). Recommended: Hard Apple Ale.

HOme made pizza and home made rootbeer. My family usually tries to eat there when my cousin flys in from hawaii. His family is vegetarian and this is one of the few places that serve something vegetarian that is good and sill affordable. Alot of the time we have to wait there a long time. The kids get anxious along with the kids' great grandma. WE usually end up going to there there sister store The Bear tooth on the movie side for pizza. It is quiter so it does not upset our other cousin who cannot be in places that are loud. The mooses tooth is very loud. Dont go there if your clasterphobic. It is not set up by any means for handicapp people. Grandma with her can almost gets stepped on where ever she goes i could never see someone get a wheel chair around there. Oh My husband tells me the mens bathroon has no baby changing station.

If you dont mind the really long wait and being crammed into a space to eat this is the place to go.
