Hotel Captain Cook is ok. this is a nice hotel in the heart of downtown anchorage, the rooms are really nice, and the people are friendly. i do like the restaurant. great place to stay

Captain Cook Hotel. Traveling to Anchorage? This is a great place to stay. Excellent views from many if not all of their rooms. Centered in the heart of Anchorage there are plenty of things to do and places to see within walking distance.

Great place to stay. Only six miles from the airport and close to shops, restaurants, and you can see Cook Inlet and the Chugach mountains from your room. This hotel is certainly first class all the way. The rooms are nice and clean and tastefully decorated.…
