Great spot for groups. I recently attended a company party at the Snow Goose restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a great vibe and the upstairs bar was a good spot for our casual gathering. I have heard they have great beer, but since I hadn't been there for years, hadn't tried it recently. It really was some of the best local beer and I will for sure keep them in mind then next time I'm needing to pick up a growler. The brewer happened to be up at the bar when I was asking questions about their beer, which was cool. I plan to go back again and encourage my office to hold the party there again next year!

Local Beer, Awesome views!. I have lived in AK all my life and have been to the Snow Goose countless times. It has always been a great spot for casual yet dependable dining, and even better for beers. Love the ambiance, upstairs in the pub is my favorite spot, except for summertime of course when the deck is open. Love sitting in the sun overlooking the inlet while sipping a locally brewed beer!

I recently tried their "Halibut Wasabi Burger" and thought it had a really good flavor. Might want to order the sauce on the side, but either way it was tasty. My boyfriend said his spinach artichoke ravioli was wonderful.

I give it five stars for the overall dining experience. Deck, food, beers. Worth checking out for sure!

Great service. I've been to the Snow Goose two times during my short stay in Anchorage. Each time I had wonderful service, wonderful beer and the views from the patio were just incredible. The only down side to the Snow Goose is the food is just okay, although I do plan to return tonight to give them one last chance.

I would recommend the Snow Goose for appetizers and a great place to sit outside and have a beer.

Good beer & ambiance. Go there with a few friends and enjoy the atmosphere and the live music, usually cover-free. Stick to the beer; the food is overpriced and leaves much to be desired. The burgers are average. The chips and salsa consist of a few tortilla chips and a small plastic tub of salsa. The hummus plate is decent, but the pizza is also just mediocre.
