Good food, great selection, good value. I am very glad to find a place in Anchorage that serves ramen and sushi and all the rest. The menu has a great selection, and the prices are good too. Not a lot of meat in the portions though.

Get there early.... Good, authentic sushi to keep Japanese tourists and businessmen happy. Interesting and ecelctic rolls to keep the American sushi-eater happy. However, the real treat at Kumagoro is the noodles and other Japanese hot dishes. They are made and taste the way they do in Japan. Not fancy, just good, down home, comfort foods. The only trouble is that they have limited supply and when its gone, its gone. So, get there early and enjoy the Japanese food as well as a couple of pieces of Salmon and White King Salmon sushi. Nothing better than fresh AK salmon prepared well and served raw.

Best Sushi Anywhere!. Great service and the food is amazing! Check it out it's a spot for Japanese food. Fish is always fresh.

Good sushi and atmosphere. This place tends to be somewhat expensive but when you're talking sushi it's important to have high quality....which they do. The atmosphere is nice with a plethora of hanging plants from the ceiling creating a very natural feeling. Service is good but parking can be difficult at times. Overall a nice Japanese restaurant.
